The Letter
Hopefully you all enjoyed the two albums in last month’s box. We’ve had some really good feedback on that one, and will be trying to get you as many months of two albums as possible from now on. We should also be finally receiving our first ever album pressing at the end of this month, so we will finally be able to tell you what it is, and get it onto next month’s send! We can’t tell you how excited we are. It has taken a lot longer than expected, as the vinyl pressing landscape is pretty challenging at the moment. Big labels are taking up a lot of the limited global capacity, so small fry like us have to wait. Hopefully it will be worth it for all of us!
Now, on to this month’s vinyl:
Brand new music for you on both the album and the 12” this time around, with the LP being the debut album from the mighty Jaguar Skills. Released in digital format earlier this year, this has been the first chance to get our hands on “The Savage Planet” for you on vinyl, and what a beast it is! Best known for his eclectic DJ sets & compilations, Jaguar has come up with a gorgeous cinematic album of hip hop breaky goodness. Hope you love it as much as we do!
This month’s 12” is from the excellently named Ponty Mython. The Lithuanian DJ and producer has put together a lovely EP of electronica that spans squelchy dancefloor 4/4 workouts to ambient dub techno. “We expect a soft landing” is the star on here for us. Enjoy!
